Every season of life is worth holding onto.
Whether you're celebrating a new baby, soaking up time with your family, planning a quiet elopement, or simply wanting to remember life as it is right now, these moments deserve to be documented.
I don't believe in forcing perfect poses or asking you to be anyone other than yourself. The best photos happen when you're laughing, snuggling, exploring, talking, and just being together.
My goal is to capture the moments you'll miss someday. The way your partner looks at you, the way your child reaches for your hand, the little things that feel ordinary now but won't always stay the same.
Don’t we all hate when Mother Nature tries to ruin our plans? No worries — if weather gets in the way, we’ll reschedule for the next available date. Just a heads up, I don’t reschedule for wind or cloudy skies — some of my favorite sessions happen on those moody days!
What happens if the weather is bad?
What a great question! Every session includes full access to my client closet, with sizes ranging from XS–4X.
Not feeling anything from the collection? No problem — you’ll also receive a beautifully curated style guide to help you plan outfits that photograph beautifully and feel true to you.
Lauren, what if I don't know what to wear?!?!?!?
If this is your first baby, it can be hard to know exactly when you’ll start to show — or when you’ll still feel like you and not just an incubator (ha!). I typically recommend scheduling your South Jersey maternity session between 28–32 weeks, but truly, it’s all about what feels right for you.
If this isn’t your first rodeo and you start showing earlier, we’ll plan your session a bit sooner to make sure you’re feeling your best and comfortable in front of the camera. Every pregnancy is different — and that’s what makes your story so special.
When should I book my maternity sessions for?
Newborn sessions should be booked as soon as you feel comfortable reaching out — typically toward the end of your second trimester or early in your third. As a South Jersey newborn photographer, my availability shifts with the seasons, so reserving your spot early ensures you’re on my calendar.
When it comes to the actual session, I recommend scheduling it for around two weeks after birth — once you’ve had a little time to settle in at home and adjust to your new rhythm. This sweet spot allows me to capture those dreamy, sleepy moments while you feel more grounded and comfortable.
