Introduction

Welcome to my first ever blog post! Whoop whoop—!

As I sit at home on my maternity leave, I’ve been thinking, “how can I still interact with my past and future clients?” and then the idea came—let me write to them!

There are numerous factors that go into a photo session beyond gathering the family, choosing a date / time, and finding a photographer that fits your style—I know, C R A Z Y!

After conducting some thorough static's (my clients filling out a questionnaire before booking over the last year), I have come to the conclusion that part of the hesitation to book with a professional photographer include…

  • Location (“what is even considered a ‘photogenic’ location?”)

  • Wardrobe (“what the heck do I even wear, let alone my family?”)

  • Budget (“is this really worth the price tag?”)

  • Self confidence (“are these images going to make me hate myself?”)

  • Previous experiences with photographers

My goal with these blog posts is to not only create a connection with my clients (past and present) but also to connect with fellow photographers in my community. I hope to share useful information, inspire creativity, and foster a sense of community where we can all grow and learn from each other.

So, stay tuned for more tips, insights, and stories! I’m excited to have you along for the journey.
