South Jersey Cafe’s that are worth the hype

So, you just wrapped up your Fox & Fable session (YAY!!) — your cheeks hurt from smiling, your hair might still have a bobby pin or two, and you're already dreaming about seeing your photos. But first? You deserve a little treat.

As your resident caffeine-addicted photographer, I’ve scouted out the coziest, quirkiest, most photo-worthy cafés in South Jersey — perfect for post-session unwinding, editing marathons, or just a solo moment of peace with a chai latte in hand. ☕🦊✨

Here are my Fox & Fable–approved spots for a magical little pick-me-up:

Camden County, NJ

☕ Ren’s Coffeehouse & Bookstore (Blackwood)

Books and brews? Say no more. Ren’s is a dreamy little hideaway where you can sip a perfectly foamed latte while getting lost in a stack of used novels. Think vintage typewriters, quiet corners, and just the right amount of indie music.

☕ Saxbys (Haddonfield)

Clean, modern vibes with a student-friendly feel. Great cold brew, super-fast WiFi, and plenty of seating — it's my go-to when I want to edit photos with minimal distractions (and maximum caffeine).

☕ Rise N Grind (Berlin)

Bright, colorful, and community-driven. Their breakfast sandwiches are chef’s kiss, and the vibe is always uplifting. If you love bold flavors and a bold atmosphere, this one’s for you.

☕ Common Grounds (Oaklyn)

A neighborhood gem tucked away with cozy couches and that “everyone knows your name” energy. Their seasonal drinks are always fun — think lavender lattes and cinnamon-maple everything in the fall.

Burlington County, NJ

☕ Evermore Coffee Roasters (Burlington)

Whimsical name? Check. Roasted-in-house beans? Double check. Evermore feels like stepping into a warm, artsy pocket of peace. Their espresso is strong, smooth, and seriously magical.

☕ Harvest Coffee (Medford)

Rustic, warm, and charming — basically the coffee shop equivalent of a Fox & Fable photo. They serve local pastries and always have a floral or citrusy tea blend for my non-coffee days.

☕ Roast Coffee Company (Medford)

Minimalist chic with a hint of industrial charm. Their pour-over game is strong, and the baristas are always down to talk beans, brew methods, or music.

Gloucester County, NJ

☕ Creamy Acres Farm Café (Mullica Hill)*

Yes, the same dreamy farm where fall dreams come true! Their seasonal drinks (pumpkin spice, maple lattes, and hot cider in the fall) are everything. A great stop after a crisp outdoor session.

☕ Kings Road Coffee (Swedesboro)

Charming, calm, and full of small-town heart. Bonus points for their signature honey lavender latte — it’s like sipping sunshine in a cup.

☕ Endgrain Coffee Roasters (Pitman)

With exposed brick, local art, and insanely good baked goods, Endgrain is a creative soul’s dream come true. Try their matcha or grab a bag of beans to brew at home.

Got a favorite I didn’t list?
Let me know — I’m always on the hunt for my next favorite cup. Whether you’re winding down from a Fox & Fable shoot or just wandering through South Jersey, I hope these sweet little spots fill your cup (and your heart).

Stay cozy & caffeinated,
🦊✨ Lauren Picariello
